It’s sunny and not so hot today. I guess the weather and temperature like today would be prefect for mountain hiking, outdoor climbing, picnicking, and so on.
Today, I would like to mention a problem on the lead wall (overhanging wall) of the Bibai City Sports Center.
It is a black-taped problem, 5.12a.
This problem was set as a qualifying problem for the Junior Boys category at the “8th Junior Sports Climbing Nara Cup” held the other day.
This problem is surely one level higher than the red 5.11d problem, and many holds are smaller, which makes it hard enough to even reach the roof part.
Even after getting to the roof part, some difficult moves are continuously required, so you need to rest your arms at a good resting point in order to send this problem.
For those who can climb 5.11 problems, please try this black-taped problem.
Although it is a hard problem, it’s a very rewarding one to try.
