Boulder wall: 6 kyu (V0) problems

Boulder

Today, I would like to introduce some of the 6 kyu grade problems of the bouldering wall at the Bibai City Sports Center.
For those who have sent most of the 7 kyu grade problems, I think the next challenge will be climbing the 6 kyu grade problems.

Let’s start with the introduction of the Problem No. 1.
*The problem number doesn’t represent the difficulty level.

* スタート = Start hold ゴール = Top hold

When you climbing this problem, you will be climbing all the way to the upper right.
None of the holds are not so bad, and as long as you place your feet on the big holds and volumes you will be able to move stably, so I think it will be a fun problem to climb.

The next one is Problem No. 4.

Each move is somewhat reachy, so this problem requires some pulling srength. I think it’s a good problem for climbers who have just finished the 7 kyu grade problems.

The next one is Problem No. 5.

This problem requires climbing straight up after climbing toward the upper right.
Because there are some holds that are hard to grasp as well as some moves that require you to bring your feet up to somewhat high holds, this problem makes you feel that the difficulty level is surely increasing compared with 7 kyu problems.
Since it requires a lot of strength as well, you will be surely feeling accomplished after finishing this problem.

The next one is Problem No. 6.

This problem includes a bit reach moves and a matching move,
I think it’s a good challenge for climbers who have finished the 7 kyu level problems because there are fewer moves compered with them.

The next one is Problem No. 7.

In addition to some reachy moves and crossing moves (or matching moves), there are also holds that don’t feel very good to grasp.
I feel it is a difficult problem among the 6 kyu grade problems. Thinking about where to put your hands and feet in what order will be crucial to send this problem, and it is also a fun part to think about them when climbing this problem.

The last problem to introduce is Problem N1.

This problem consists of holds of the same type and color, and the difficulty level is quite high because each move is quite reachy, but if you firmly put your feet on footholds when you try each move, you will get to the top.
This problem requires pulling strength and deadpointing (a move to use momentum when reaching a next hold).

These are some of the 6 kyu grade problems.
Please try them when you come to climb the Bibai Walls.
