The weather is not so great today, and the look of the sky is not very suitable for outdoor climbing.
Today, I would like to talk about a problem on the lead wall (vertical wall) of the Bibai City Sports Center.
It is a light blue-taped problem, 5.11a.
This problem was set as the final problem for the Kids (top rope) and Youth D (lead) categories of the “8th Junior Sports Climbing Nara Cup” held the other day.

This problem is a difficult one among the lead wall problems (vertical wall). It is a difficulty level that will make your arms pumped and stop you from sending if you don’t think about the moves such as the order of grabbing holds and bringing up feet. Therefore, observation becomes very important before climbing.
It is a fun route to climb while thinking about where to rest your arms in order to leave enough power to overcome the difficult part in the second half of the route.
Although it is a difficult problem, if you are getting used to lead climbing in Bibai, please give it a try.
All holds will be taken down for the preparation for the qualifier round of National Sports Festival, which will be held next month, so please try and send this problem before the said competition.
